@TrEmEnD0132 No, this is much better than buffy. Elena the main character falls in love with a vampire and because of that her world and life is thrown into chaos. Her best friend also discovers that she is a witch. It is a really good show, worth looking into

@OfficalPoserBuster I think its because she is doing the dialect that was common about 20-50 years ago...not present day NY accent. Watch a movie called "my cousin Vinny" this is the type of accent she is trying to do
