About selentium1786's channel
I was raised in a family full of headbangers for starters. My grandpa was a hardcore biker with a fully stocked harley with fishtail pipes who loved soundgarden and alice in chains.
My uncle was an alice in chains/icp junkie, but if it had great lyrics and a really cool solo/breakdown he'd go out to buy the cd/tape right when it came out.
My mom listened to just about everything. I remember just about every song we listened to she would tell me who wrote the song, who came up with the awesome solo, and most importantly what the songs meant no matter how violent or dark they were.
My mom and my uncle are the most important part of what lead to liking the greatest bands of all time and made me feel respect for them for not sheltering me from a brutal reality with raw petrifying music.
