About sehrbesessen's channel

We are two sisters (Tanya and Danielle) who love fan vids. We aren't looking for popularity and won't beg anyone to watch our vids. We know we aren't the best and certainly aren't going to be the most popular. We just thought we'd do our part to share, as we have enjoyed the vids of others for many years and are grateful that they shared.

So, if you like our vids, fantastic! If not, oh well. . They are really made for our own personal enjoyment anyway. Just thought we might as well share while we're at it.

We do tend to make more slash than anything, although we are not gay ourselves, we are huge homofans and friend to the gays! hahaha! Therefore ALL flames are welcome and encouraged!!! lol!

We thoroughly enjoy them and always look forward to meeting hateful, small minded people! (There certainly is no shortage of them in this world. I think we can all agree on that!)

But be forewarned all ye bigots of confrontational nature ... we will reply to any, and most likely all, flames and may say some fairly vicious things in reply, all the while laughing at and simultaneously pitying you, your ignorance. Although, rest assured, it will be nothing short of the truth. So, if you have nothing better to do and do indeed flame, just pray your wit is mightier than ours! 8P

We do so enjoy a battle of wits ... though it can be trying at times, getting it all into a 500 character reply. :(

We don't sub for sub. If you don't like our videos please don't sub, it's a waste of your time and ours. Plus, we have a theory that keeping your subs down to a smaller or medium level may help you escape YouTube's wrath! lol. If you do like our videos and you do sub we truly and deeply appreciate it! If you send us a friend request and we seem to share the same interests, we will accept. XD

We have Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings vids up at the moment, maybe more Star Wars later.

Tanya (that's me) does most of the updating and stuff on here and on our site, so I'm on here the most, Danielle rarely has time.

I absolutely love to make fun of things I really like. Don't ask me why, it's weird. I don't mean it in a way that's disrespectful, though some people take it that way. It's just my sense of humor.

I love SLASH!!! I don't care for MOST het ship videos, at all.

Fandoms I love: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Queer as Folk, Skins and Legend of the Seeker, Xena and Highlander the Series just to name a few. I love parodies, dubs, lyp-syncs of any fandom that I like, it's great.

I also LOVE contests and video challenges! I get obsessed with them as well ... even though I'm not a competitive person at all... I don't know why I love them it's weird! My OTP is probably Harry/Draco ... I go back and forth, but I adore them. (though I find the pairing almost impossible to vid)

Danielle tends to lean more towards emotional and serious videos, though she's been working on a multi-fandom slash humor vid for some time now.

She's a complete perfectionist (which is why it's impossible for us to collaborate on a vid, though we do ALWAYS share input, help each other and beta each others vids, share ideas all that, so were ALWAYS involved with each others videos from start to finish)

She's more open to het vids and a little less strict about her likes and dislikes ... just like I said more open, I guess, but our tastes are very similar. She loves slash as well!

Her fav fandoms are Twilight, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Highlander the Series, Xena, Legend of the Seeker and Star Wars.

We use Adobe Premier Pro and Sony Vegas 8.0 pro to edit our vids and we use Xiliosoft DVD Ripper Platinum 5 to rip our clips from DVD.

Also, we are open to and appreciate requests/video ideas, but we can't promise anything. If it works - it works, but we both hate to force it, so if we try it and we can't get our heads around it - we won't do it. Also, we don't have loads of time for vidding. We may be obsessed, but we both have DEMANDING lives which is why we don't have many finished videos and no time for keeping up with fandom (more's the pity)... so an hour here 20 min. there and it'll probably get done eventually. Either that or end up in our huge pile of garbage videos that we couldn't get just right and will never be done. :(

We love slash videos and dislike most het videos (unless they are spectacular!) but really we just love great videos, so if you have some great videos and you want us to watch them go ahead and ask and we will! We prefer videos that use what's really there and are more simply brilliant to over the top editing. It depends how it's done and some songs do seem to call for over the top editing, but not EVERY song does.
