Segus is an American rock band from Columbus, Ohio, formed in early 2008. They are known for their catchy riffs, astonishingly ear-catching guitar solos, and impressive drumming. The band started out as four friends who hung out on Thursday afternoons, playing Guitar Hero. When they decided to form a rock band for fun, the four realized that they had an undeniable musical connection. Now taking their music more seriously than before, they have begun writing their own songs. Already, the band has created their own sound, with the funky, distorted riffs heard in songs like "Welcome To The Show", and "Sun Devil". Currently, they are at work with a new song that is quite different than the past works. Wanting to expand their music from hard rock and heavy metal, Segus will soon release a new song, entitled "Move On". The song is driven by the rhythm guitar and complimented by soft, gentle instrumental leads played by guitars and keyboards. The group intends to stay at work all the way through high school, and hopefully college, so expect great music to come to in the future!
