Do you know when the reenactment will happen in 2012? I'm on temporary contract in the Shenandoah Valley area until October and want to take in as much Civil War history as I can.

An indication of lying is when the speaker suddenly looks away and/or down to try and think of something to say. Yolanda does that A LOT!

President mentioned helping Veterans to become Cops & Firefighters. What we need are strategically placed posts aka Police Substations smack dab in the middle of crime-ridden neighborhoods to dissuade the never-ending cycles of crime and violence for which we taxpayers ultimately pay.

That car in the background at 3:29 reminds me the 70's civil war era mini-series, "The Blue and The Gray" in which a helicopter is seen flying in the background during The Battle of Bull Run. Lol.

@AUG351 Thanks for the clarification. I moved from Arizona to Virginia a few months ago and saw one of those flags flying in someone's yard. Made me think of this scene.

I was informed in September that I'd have to relocate from Arizona to Northern Virginia, in order to avoid being laid off. While shocked by the news, I felt some comfort (Southern Comfort) in knowing I would fulfill a Bucket-List dream of witnessing the re-creations at Gettysburg in 2012!

Battle scene in "God and Generals" was much more historically accurate. The newer version of "The Alamo" was way more historically accurate but sadly didn't do well in the Box Office due to lack of sensationalism.
The history of the cadets is apparently why brochures for the event depict such young confederate soldiers.
