Seeds of Peace develops and empowers young leaders from regions of conflict to work towards peace through coexistence and conflict resolution.
From 46 Israeli, Palestinian and Egyptian teens in 1993, we expanded to include Cyprus, the Balkans, Morocco, Yemen and several others but we are now focused on the Middle East and South Asia. Our leadership network now encompasses over 3,000 young people.
The first steps of a Seed on the path to peace are taken at the International Camp in Maine and continues through follow-up programming with international youth conferences, regional workshops, educational and professional opportunities, and an adult educator program. This comprehensive system allows participants to develop empathy, respect, and confidence as well as leadership, communication and negotiation skills -- all critical components that will facilitate peaceful coexistence.

Great memories.
Hello every one,
My Name Hasan Jihad Hamarsheh, I am from Yaabad, Jenin, Palestine currently living in Texas.
I was one of the happy campers back in 1996.
I wanted to say it has been a great honor to have joined the Seeds of Peace.
