The criminals you describe are not "suspects" they are offenders. They might be suspects to the judge and the jury, but to the person looking down the barrel of the gun pointed at them, they are offenders.

PS to my first post, I carried Glocks, fired, literally, thousands of rounds through them, and never had a jam, or any other kind of failure. I carried a Colt Detective Special backup. which locked up after only 200-300 rounds. It didn't jam (a jam can be cleared), it lcked up tight.

A member of the military does not simply have A RIGHT to refuse an order that would violate citizens' constitutional rights... they have a DUTY, per their oath of office, to refuse that order.
