@bridgetroll9 Science can't explain why a magnet works through a wooden (insulator of energy) table. The laws of thermodynamics breaks down above 5000 degrees Calvin. The laws of entropy that things are becoming more and more random don't take consciousness into effect. i.e. you see a toaster app...

@bridgetroll9 neutrino reactions seems to emit energy from nothing. Science does everything to isolate one variable, yet synergy proves the whole is not always equal to the sum of it's parts. Science is based on the belief "matter cannot be created or destroyed" so there are huge ramifications in...

Reagan stuck to principals and took unpopular actions that'd cause a recession in order to set the stage for growth by eliminating high inflation. He stuck to what he knew was right. Had interest rates raised and cut spending. Was willing to change course from Lebenon as needed to protect troops.

@TacticalCitySlicker That's not true. There were a number of banking panics, and periods of economic famine throughout history, you just aren't going back far enough in history. The confidence is eroding in Europe, and unlike the US Fed, the ECB cannot currently expand the money supply if there is a run on the banks. Can you explain why in the system of Greek numerals Pi has a value of 80, yet we all know it in math as 3.141 and the greek "pi" is 22/7? And although much of the greek alphabet seems to be in numerical order corresponding to the value, pi is the 16th letter of the greek alphabets?
