I'm tired of people thinking "non-imerialism"= "isolationism". Ron Paul supports trade, allies and indirect involvement. Going all "Hitler" and killing those not of the US pre emtively may have unintensed consequences, as does Clinton+Bush occupying their "holyland".

Reagan stuck to principals and took unpopular actions that'd cause a recession in order to set the stage for growth by eliminating high inflation. He stuck to what he knew was right. Had interest rates raised and cut spending. Was willing to change course from Lebenon as needed to protect troops.
