MMA had to have weigh ins, weight classes, cut men and timed rounds. It was the only way mma could grow. Athletic Commissions would not allow mma to grow unless they played by their rules. I love boxing n mayweather is cool with me but he just doesnt know why mma (ufc specifically) made the moves...
