My son, Pierre is 11 years old . He began playing music by ear. He never had a chance to have lessons. He would sit down and listen to a song, and pulled out his keyboard and begin to go to work playing.

Pierre, feeling very nervous, had a chance to display his talent on stage before over thousands of saints at our (COOLJC)Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ Intl. Convention held in Columbia, 2007. God has bless Pierre to be able to go futher with his gift.

His School's Music Teacher began teaching him every Tuesday some lessons to help him. Pierre has recently been nominated for Charleston County Gifted and Talented Artistic Program: S.P.A.C.E. (School for the Performing Arts and Creative Experiences) for summer 2009.

He also auditioned January 5th and 8th, 2009, for Charleston's School of the Arts. He didnt feel he was prepared, but continued on. The day of his Band audition, Pierre was required to sing and play a song of his choice. He chose: Why Do You Cry, by Kirk Franklin. After his performance, the instructor told him he did excellent. About 2 weeks later, he received a letter informing him , "he made it in!!! " Glory!!! Pierre is now learning how to play the "Alto Sax" and "Bari Sax" for his school's Major. He's also a member of Charleston Children's Choir.

Pierre has been playing and participating in various services and activities in his church, community, and at school. He attends Greater Refuge Temple, Charleston COOLJC, Apostle W.L. Jackson , Pastor. Pierre often plays on Sunday's at Triumphant Chuch OOLJC; Elder D. Furby, Pastor.
