I am a story teller. I try to keep an open mind and also try to be tolerant. I honestly try and see both sides of every argument. I am appalled by the hatred, name calling and lack of informed debate that often appears in discussions on Youtube. It's a scary world out there when people are influenced and governed by fear and misinformation.

I've added this addendum because I've been accused by a number of conservatives and Libertarians for not seeing both sides of the story. i have learned that you cannot have an intelligent debate with ideologues because they've adopted a rhetoric and platform that affords no room for change or for learning. They are basically political fundamentalist. Politics and government must not be static because our world is not static. It changes and we have to adopt to meet that change. It's basic.

I simply don't have the time and patience to suffer and indulge fools who cannot understand that basic truth.
