Busted Boston Terrier

Why have a dog if you're not even going to bother to train him or teach him? Telling him off for his behaviour after-the-fact doesn't mean a thing to him, all he will do is associate you coming home with negative feelings and he'll likely just fear you rather than feel good about seeing you.
