The word "hun" is defined in my dictionary as "a warlike nomadic people who ravaged Europe in the 4th - 5th centuries". The word HUN means "a reckless or uncivilised destroyer of something". This is why the Germans were referred to as Huns during the wars and it is also why the Rangers fans are appropriately called Huns now.

The words fits - that's why we use it.

GR2009 there are Bluenoses who support your football team and are a decent bunch, in fact count a few as friends, believe it or not!!
