This glitch was found when server was lagging. Although the glitch works on all items, and can succefully dupe 2-3 at a time. All the dupe items are fake, can not be stored. They either vanishes once u open ur inventory OR once u click on them OR once u try to put them in chest. However if you do not do any of the above things, u can simply use ur mouse center wheel to select the fake sword and use it as long as u want. Now this trick is best when someone has a super high enchanted sword and u want one too.
This is how its done -- Make sure u got at least 1 xp point, than put anything that can be enchanted in the enchanting table, now hold and drag it a little bit towards the corner of the box where u put items to enchant, and keep clicking, while ur doing this keep pressing SHIFT key on ur keyboard, as soon as u see item appear in ur inventory while ur doing this, Click button E to close the inventory. Now either u will have more then 1 item in ur inventory or either the real will fall on ground and fake one will be inside the inventory.
Do not click the fake one once u have it, do not put in chest, do not drop. The only thing u can do is use center mouse wheel to slide to the fake item and use it as long as u want.
