Hello SSGT Nichols I was wondering if when u were a DI, if u were ever angry while doing that job? I watch ur videos and I mean when u tell the recruits to do it with volume and intensity u were deffinently the epidomy of that statement but how were u able to yell like that with such ferocity?

My Auburn veteran friends and I love watching your vids. I went to PI in 2006, but some things about Marine Corps recruit training are just universal. I found your channel recently because my cousin Ryan has been considering becoming a Marine, and wanted to know what it's like. Of course words can't do justice to the reality, and so I pulled up a bunch of your clips for a trip down memory lane. He seemed to possess a mix of awe and horror, and probably thought I was off my rocker after I started laughing uncontrollably courtesy of reliving the hilarious batshit insanity of my own time as a recruit.
