Ive been into music ever since I heard Kriss Kross back when I was 10. First got into garage when I was about 16 and discovered pirate radio as I was tuning through the frequencies. The first station that introduced me to garage was Flare FM 89.6. I just loved the way that it sounded and the way the mc's would bust lyrics with it. Ganja MC on Flare FM was the main influence for starting mcing as he had raw passion and a flow that jus inspired me. So i would write down lyrics and practice them to 2step beats and as my lyrical flow developed so did its contents and I started mcing about stories and experiences instead of the basics.

At the start of 1999 i got my first pair of decks because all of the garage tracks i liked couldn't be bought on cd at the time as singles. I wasn't really that interested in mixing them I just like listening to my favourite tracks. Later that year I was asked to dj at a few house parties and BBQ's and at college here and there and that got the ball rolling. People liked what i played and the way that i mixed it, so then i decided to make mix albums and sell them at £5 a pop to mates and their mates etc. My favourite garage track back then was "Yesterday" by X-men which i got from BlackMarket records, and it still is to this day!

I've been producing for around 6 years. I started playing the guitar when I was 9 and that's where I found I enjoyed making up tunes as well as jus playing them. Now im learning to play the piano. Most, if not all of my tunes have piano in them because I love the way it sounds. As far as the bass-line goes, I love reggae and soul, so I go for a live jazzy style. Put these two elements together and add an intricate 2step beat and you get my jazzy style.

I DJ'd on manicfm.com for a year and a half and used to have MC PC and Dino along> It was a successful show and I was rated best garage DJ on the station. Big up Dino & PC, both big in the game! I then moved on to Channel Pure based in Watford for a bit ( big up Ray aka X-Rated ) with PC & Dino but left that due to other commitments.
