Install themes in Ubuntu/Linux Mint
to do this, type:
sudo cp -r /directory/of/theme /usr/share/themes
Make sure you have a space between the two directories.

Like everything else I attempt in Linux, this didn't work. What a shock. Why can't something as simple as changing themes be straightforward? I get no errors with this process but no new themes ever show up in the Appearance Preferences no matter what I do.
And why in the hell isn't there a tuto...
