About this user

The founder of SculptureTrails.com Gerard Masse in a native of Solsberry, IN and grew up among those very woods. It was just natural that he has brought fine art back to the land that inspired many wonderful sculptures of his own. Most of the sculptures on the property reflect the beauty of nature and natural forms.

Started in 2002 with only a few pennies, a dream and with the generous time of many volunteers and artist, Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum has grown to proudly display over 40 different sculptures from artist from all over the world with many more pieces scheduled for installation in the future.

2007 - 2009 Tuska Fine Art Foundry, Chief bronze furnace operator, Lexington KY and Mold making coordinator. Duties also included tig & mig welding, chasing, fabrication, patina, bronze & aluminum casting, rubber mold making & wax pattern making.

2007 Visited 2 Secondary Schools to speak to students about the iron casting process and cast over 400 12 x 16
relief sculpture scratch blocks for a dual track road installed in Telford Town Park, in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of Thomas Telford, one of the fathers of the Industrial Revolution. Telford, England
