HOSEF is a Hawaii based charitable non-profit that builds life-sustaining educational programs around previously discarded computers. By using Free and Open Source Software applications, we are able build hope around what others consider waste. In addition to hosting public information events, conferences, and training sessions, we encourage citizen journalism through free and open technology standards. Many of the values of Free and Open Source Software are at the foundation of Democracy.
