Led by front woman, Ashen Keilyn, SCOUT is a talented NYC based band whose music has been included in various television series such as the N Networks "DeGrassi", NBC's "Mercy", and CBSs "Guiding Light" and has been featured on musical soundtracks such as "Degrassi Goes Hollywood" and the WB's "Felicity" . In addition, Kohls, Kraft Foods, Cheerios, Nivea, American Airlines, NBC, Miramax and Showtime have all made SCOUTs sound part of their marketing strategy. SCOUT has appeared on NBC's Late Night With Conan O'Brien and was featured on HBOs The Sopranos. Ashen and Steve Schiltz (of Hurricane Bells and Longwave) have recently been in the studio with Jim Eno of Spoon fame working to put the finishing touches on SCOUT's third record which is slated to be released late 2010. While on on tour with SCOUT, Ashen shares the stage with Hurricane Bells who will be kicking off a US tour next month opening for Blue October. Ashen also lends her voice and talent to the recordings of other local and national artists, most recently providing backing vocals for Brooklyn based Indie band, Breaking Laces newest record, "Live at Seaside.
