Michael Scott is a Hampshire/London UK based schooled drummer (Winchester Musical School) who can play all styles but is happiest playing funk, New Orleans street beats, hip-hop, Latin/Afro-Cuban, rock and a bit of blues!

Beside playing acoustic and electronic drums, he enjoys playing Bass Cajon both plugged and unplugged for acoustic sessions and have played with diverse musicians from folk & blues/rock through to local hip-hop artists.

Able to sight read and pick up new music very quickly, his playing is sensitive, working with dynamics and solid, good feel to fit each song and support fellow musicians.

Michael has been taught by some of the world's greatest drummers including the amazing Stanton Moore and Steve White, Geoff Dugmore, Jason Bowld, Craig Blundell and Pete Cater.
