About this user

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Scott started playing guitar at the age of 14. He spent hours every day listening to his favorite lead guitarists and practicing their solos, rewinding cassettes over and over, until he became a lead guitarist himself. Completely self-taught, and with a wide range of musical interests, Scott developed his own trademark style that continues to develop to this day. Over time, Scott started buying pieces of recording gear and recording his own songs which he wrote at an insane pace in the 90's, playing all the instruments and singing all the vocals himself, while he also worked in collaboration with other artists. He privately released several solo projects and songs from among the thousands he wrote and recorded on his own, but chose not to market himself because he had a daughter and a wife and didn't want to go on the road yet. After spending the past 10 years working with troubled teens and building a multimedia business, and now that his daughter is 18, Scott is striking out into a life doing what he was created and gifted for: music. Over the past ten years, Scott has been preparing for this time by building his vault of experiences and influences, working on his craft, studying technology, and putting together a recording studio that will adequately capture all the nuances and layers of what he needs to express. He is thankful to be hitting this season of his musical career when an artist can be in complete control of his own music.
