About Me:
The video "It`s all coming back to me now", Is one I arranged and recorded in dedication to family who are not with us anymore.
And, for my "DAD" the great song, "Dance with my Father again". A great fitting song in memory of a great man "MY DAD".
~About me~, I started learning Guitar when I was 8 years old... My uncle (great Chet Atkins type player) played Guitar with me and taught me. Then when I was 11, I heard Rock-N-Roll for the first time. I discovered "KISS". I still learned from my uncle. I was also teaching myself from then on.....(I never took lessons from any other teacher). I caught on fast and always loved playing Guitar with and learning from my uncle Jr. (Tommy Metcalf). There are a lot of musicians in my family. And those who aren`t are great artists in, Sketch art, Painting and various other art forms.
I was 15 when I got in with my first "real" band. (Rock-n-Roll)....I`ve played solidly for well over 25 years now, live and studio. But now, for the moment all I`ve been doing is writing and recording, focusing on always improving and writing different styles to land on what might be more marketable these days. Yet still staying in the good ol genera of 70`s and 80`s Rock-n-Roll. The last Band I was in ended in 2005... In 2006 I began working on these videos, it`s all new to me still..... I try to make time to learn a video program.... I play all the instruments and the vocals in the songs on my videos, except for vocals on my original song "Love Train" (a good friend is singing that one). Some are songs I recorded in my home studio, (Originals and Covers), and added other video clips and pictures..... And some are me playing them live along with pre-recorded Rhythm tracks I played and recorded myself. And a few with Bands I`ve been in (studio and live videos).
My original song "Love Train" has the Vocals of a good friend of mine. I`d like to put more of my originals on here but they don`t have the vocals because I just can-not find a singer.... Hopefully there will be vocals on them soon. ~ I hope you keep checking back with my channel ~. Good luck to all the musicians out there! Scott Parker.
