Dragon Skin only works well when the armor is flat on a surface. When it its curved, like when it is placed on a human chest, the 'scales' are not able to perform nearly as well as the interceptor. Believe me, I wore an interceptor for over a year and a half, and I have never once felt that it was in some way a cheap alternative.
