Scott Hardkiss is one of electronic dance music's most innovative & enigmatic artists.He's created his own bizarre, funky, surreal, and uplifting fusion of psychedelic house, breakbeats, techno, funk, rock, hip-hop, techno, disco, soul, jazz, dub, ambient, blues, latin, classical, go-go & surf music to name just a few. Born in the bronx, ny, he eventually made his way to San Francisco and inspired a motley crew of followers to join him in his mission, and together they founded the seminal record label, "Hardkiss Music." using the name God Within for his own original solo productions, Scott became an innovator of the international electronic sound of the 90's and his ground-breaking records & musical style were embraced by djs, producers, & music-lovers worldwide. As a dj, he became one of the first americans to tour coast-to-coast and beyond, receiving accolades as one of DJ Magazine's Top 50 DJs in the World. Scott's musical ambitions eventually grew even further and in 2000 after a decade on the "left-coast," he returned to New York City and began to shift his focus towards composing & producing score for film & tv and working even more extensively with live musicians & singers. Scott has just released his highly-anticipated debut full-length album "Technicolor Dreamer," out now on his own new brooklyn-based label God Within. for this marathon retro-futuristic party jam he's written, produced, arranged & performed the songs himself, along with stellar contributions from artists including Lisa Shaw, Britta Phillips, Bobby Harden, Stevvi Alexander, J Bowman, Steven Bernstein, DJ Afro of Los Amigos Invisibles, Tabitha Fair & Alex Moulton to ad even more organic funk & soul to his next-school electronic sounds. It's all part of Scott Hardkiss' kaleidoscopic sonic vision: fusing the electronic with the acoustic, the futuristic with the traditional, and body-moving rhythms with heart & soul-moving songs.

Been canning your material also since 93 ish....I used to put god within on 45 and pitch it down -8. I thought it sounded right. Played w/ you in Seattle w/ Donald one night. You canned Visnadi - racing tracks. Was a huge track at the time. Peace!
