About Me:
Dr. Giles also claims the great and rare honour of having a plaster bust (yes, plain white plaster, not even spray-painted gold) of himself in a music conservatory in Egypt. He has no idea why or how that occurred.
Scott has PhDs in Music Composition and History as well as other degrees in Psychology, Canadian Studies, Journalism and Communications. He has two honorary PhDs from foreign universities awarded for his lecture series on music history. He is a master of the violin, viola, cello, clarinets and saxophones and the piano and teaches these as well as composition and conducting. He has been a teacher since 1984.
He has performed and recorded in London, Moscow, San Francisco and other cities throughout the globe and in the 80s did most of his performing in the Soviet Union. He plans to write music for the movies and is at present setting up his studio.
Listed in Who's Who in America as significantly contributing to the development of the symphonic form. He also paints and is working on two novels.

I am simply honored to have received such a in-depth comment specially from a great composer/conductor like you. I am humbled! You are very generous and amiable to point out the positive points of the 'Tears of Nanjing' however, if you permit, I love to receive the negative aspect of my composition, as well as other compositions in order to improve upon.
I am truly very happy to know you. Your channel is very rich and colorful. I am going to study and watch all your videos.
Warm greeting from Vancouver, Canada
