About this user

I, unlike the majority of people, actually like school and learning. I like music theory, chemistry, and literature. Please give me lots of feedback. I would rather you say "yo man, this video sucks" than dislike one of my videos. I used to by really shy and socially awkward, but nowadays (yes that's one word; look it up) I tend to be very outgoing and a little bit hyper. I am a blogger, but not a very good one. Maybe I should vlog on here. That would be much more fun. Sometimes I wish that I wasn't 17, but then I realize how great it is to be alive.

One of my central goals in life is to help others attain their own goals. Everyone is entitled to achieving their maximum potential in all areas of life. I am dedicated to providing service to others, from coaching our JV quizbowl team to giving weekly piano lessons to young, budding artists. I have also undertaken several major projects including helping relocate the warehouse for the Home of the Innocents in Louisville and creating an annual movie night for my local community. Helping others is certainly one of the best ways to help one's self.

Despite popular belief, I do have several interests other than music and academics. I love socializing and talking to people, as long as they are not annoying. I enjoy being overly liberal and letting people know how I feel about their political views. I enjoy watching films, especially anime by Studio Ghibli. Spirited Away is probably my favorite movie of all time. I like art a lot, especially impressionism. In fact, I have a print of Starry Night in my office. Cubism and expressionism are other forms of art that I enjoy. I do not care for pop art, so don't show we the picture of a Coca Cola bottle you drew. Speaking of Cola, I do not drink soda, pop, whatever you prefer it be called. It is bad for you and contributes to lots of bad things. I like water and I think it has a delightfully pure taste. I love food, and like to try a variety of cuisines. My current favorites are probably Japanese, Thai, Tuscan, and Mexican (the good kind, not Taco Bell). I am an ardent supporter of individuality and feel that everyone is a unique individual who is entitled to their own person lifestyle and opinions. I also like writing, as you should have discerned from reading this excerpt on my life. That was my highest score on the SAT (790). I enjoy long winded conversations, as long as the topic is interesting and I like reading the New York Times. I think that Global Warming is real, so you should probably recycle.
