Embassy had a series of LPs (what?) called Top of the Pops, covering Top 10 hits. MANY much better than originals" - ALL done by professional artistes, as the studio time availabl was severely limited for cost reasons, so they HAD to be done professionally in the time available - not by "amateurs...

Maurice is playing the very rare doubleneck Gibson 1250 that I got from him nearly forty years ago. It's a wondrous and versatile instrument. I am looking to sell this awesome beast very soon, if anyone out there is seriously interested.
