nice shooting. i'm going on my first duck hunt in a few weeks and i'm trying to decide which shotgun to use between my Rem model 1100 (semi-auto) that only shoots 2.75inch or my dads old Win model 120 Ranger pump like you have here because it can shoot the bigger 3 inch. have you guys duck hunt...

very nice rifle, i'm not familiar with .280 but the ballistics on it's 140gr look superior to the .30-06 150gr loads on deer sized game and flatter shooting. i'd imagine it has less recoil too, is that right?

dry firing a centerfire rifle won't hurt it, the owner manuals even recommend it for some models....not sure it's the safest thing to do since it's usually "unloaded" guns that kill people in accidents.

Remember in 2007 when Hawaii beat Boise 39-27 and then that same awesome Hawaii team ran into UGA in the Sugar Bowl? Yea, it was a 41-10 beatdown. Be careful what you wish for because the Dawgs have a lot to prove and are looking to make an example of BSU on national TV.
