Scoorie - (lowland Scots) Scruffy & Shabby.
Whuppity Scoorie - An annual event of uncertain origin staged on 1 March in Lanark, in which children run for 3 counterclockwise laps round a church & then scramble for coins.
Originally participants were penitents who were whipped round the church, and afterwards 'Scoored' (washed) in the River Clyde.

Thanks a million for this new footage from the Scars gig back in December. It is amazing to see such great footage from the gig, and also to hear such clear sound. A great reminder of an amazing gig! I hope there will be more tracks to follow!

Thanks a lot for posting these new videos from the Marc Riley Session. REALLY sorry to hear that you and Rab won't be performing together again. I've really enjoyed having the original Scars back together again, even if it was just for a short time. All the best for your future musical adventures!
