Hi, I was diagnosed with ocular histoplasmosis in Dec. 2008. My retina specialist recommend an injection of Avastin which I had that same month. My vision has improved minutely since then. He said that what I am seeing now is scar tissue and not leakage. He said there is no way to take the scar tissue out without the risk of more scar tissue forming. Is the procedure in your video effective at restoring eyesight? Thanks

Hi Dr. Cohen,
I'm Fabio Dressler, 22 years old from Brazil.
I had retinal detachment on both eyes. One of them is fine, but the other have epiretinal membrane but i can't do another surgery because i've suffer 6 surgerys before the membrane. Do you know the risks of leaving the membrane on my retina?
Thank you.

PS.: Sorry about my english

thank you sir for your comments. What would be the longest time for you to leave silicon oil inside the eye if the patient has useful vision and the oil doesnt appear to be emulsified?please post some of your surgeries in dealing with proliferative dm retinopathy with severe traction/cicatrization /fibrosis.

My goodness.... ophtalmology seems so coplicated yet fascinating! Perhaps one day i might decide to study medicine and become a professional in the noble arts of medicine. Being a professional ophtalmologist may be a high-paying job, but it requires you to not have a weak stomach! Well, kuddos to Doctor Cohen for all his videos of inspiration and demostration to cure the vision of people, one of the most important abilities humans have! -stands up to clap-

Hello i am a 34 year old female with one child and i am currently on Lupron for Endometriosis and has been on this drug since oct 2006 post a right salpingoophorectomy. i have been having a lot of eye pain, headaches and recently more floaters than before. I also think that my eyesight is certainly and suddenly getting worse. I am currently living in Anguilla BWI and any special opthalmology care would have to be done overseas. Are there any supplements or eye excercises, that would help me at this time? Or is there anything/procedure that you would reccommend? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you for your time
