@wikir close, but no cigar :) the song from max and mary is Perpetuum Mobile by Penguin Cafe Orchestra from their 1972 album Preludes, Airs and Yodels. this song was (obviously) greatly inspired by PCO, but this isn't the one from max and mary.

i have a special 130 myself (right now ive got it rigged to a marshall 412 through one output and a scorpion 12" through the other). killer amp. killer guitar, too. MIA or MIJ?

i have to say, i prefer the 498s. the burstbuckers were good, but the 498s were better. i like the higher output, clean and dirty, especially for an sg. the burstbuckers sounded too... eh... thin? they werent thin, just not as thick as the 498... i dunno, they're close though....

@rlta04 ive got the faded too, ive played the standards at various guitar shops and found most of the standards are a couple pounds heavier than the faded. are the dimensions (body/neck thickness, etc) the same? i haven't ever held a faded and standard side by side...
