I am a Christian Rasta

"Who was Rastafari, and who is a Rastafarian? Ras Tafari was the 225th direct descendant of King Solomom and Makeda The Queen of Sheba. He reigned as Emperor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974. Ethiopia is the oldest Christian country in the world, not counting Israel where Christians were oppressed. The Rastafarian movement beginning in Jamaica in the 1930's centered around Tafari as the returned Christ or as the true Christ. Today there are Rastas of all types,and too many have mixed it up with Babylon filth. Rasta is no hippy business, no pagan business, etc.

Blessedly, many are following the true Rastafarian way of life. We honor the emperor Ras Tafari whose coronation name, Haile Selassie, means Power of The Trinity; he was an imperfect leader but did a lot alot of good for his country, defending it against the fascist Mussolini's attempt at conquest (which the pope at that time called a "catholic crusade"), and we do as Selassie did, by being Christians: we worship Yeshua (Jesus) as The Only Man Who ever was God,The Only Man Who is God, and The Only Man Who will ever be God, or JAH as we Rastas call Him (Psalm 68).

It has been reported that near to his death, under an Archbishop from the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, Bob Marley himself tearfully repented of his false worship of Selassie, and accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior."
