Michigan State University Science Theatre is an award-winning outreach program seeking to get students excited about science. We offer hands on science demonstrations and thrilling stage shows that can be used in conjunction with schools' science curricula to reinforce concepts and to offer rich background knowledge. Our shows are packed with fun and humor and cover subjects in biology, chemistry, and physics. Our shows connect text book science with real world examples through flashy visuals, interactive demonstrations, and simple explanations.
MSU Science Theatre is operated completely by undergraduate student volunteers, with support from faculty members at Michigan State University. In constructing our demos, we utilize the resources of a major research university. All of our members have a passion for teaching science and enjoy visiting schools to share their knowledge.
