About this user

I teach at Berkeley High School, in Berkeley, California. My primary subject area is biology, but two years ago I started teaching environmental science. Starting in 2010-2011, I'll be teaching in (and co-leading) Berkeley High's new Green Academy, in a career education program called H.E.A.T. (for Human Energy and Appropriate Technology), which focuses on sustainable energy and the environment.

Throughout my teaching career, in addition to developing curricula, I've been occasionally moved to put some ideas down in song, and you can see some of the products here.
