Most of my editing time is spent on looking at the photos to see if it's worth editing. I also try to determine the mood I want to go for in the photo, the editing of each photo itself is 5-7 minutes.

I spend 2 hours editing for every hour of shooting :) I just make sure I get the composition and the exposure right in camera and worry about everything else later :)

@froshmasta yeah, I was just playing. Now that I have the D90, and while it's a fantastic camera that allow you better manual controls than the D40, the lens is far more important. But really, it's all about the photographer.

btw, I bought a D90 over a 5100 a couple of months ago :) FB flash sync, pop up flash CLS commander, a much larger viewfinder, 2 control dials, 1/3 stop ISO adjustments, and a built in focus motor did it for me. Perhaps you can make a comparision between those 2 :)
