Yayyy first mmv of the year xD Oh gosh, the latest chapter of PH... I feel sorry for all the characters. Gil... please... that gun... so many potential targets running through my mind ;_; And poor Oz, he needs to find a fairy god mother that'll turn him into a real boy asap ;_;
I will never underestimate editing to a full instrumental track ever again. I'm so used to lyric matching when I edit that I wasn't sure which direction to take this video in. I had the general story and concept in mind, but actually putting it to the instrumental was a bit frustrating. I actually made four different versions for the 40 seconds or so of the video before deciding which one I wanted to settle on. And NB Film Effects was being a total pain up my butt. It looked so nice in the SV preview screen, but when I actually rendered the video, you could hardly even tell the effect was there. After an hour of fiddling around with it and constant re-rendering of the chunk of video to see how the effect looked, I just gave up and improvised (which I should've done from the start to save myself an hour -__-)

I hope you had an awesome celebration girl! :) As soon as I found out it was your birthday, I hopped on my laptop and did a quick edit (quick as in a few days... that's as fast as I go lol xD) so it's nothing extravagant or anything... just a simple edit, but I think it fits the song and the story of the mmv. I tried to pick another song from one of your playlists but I was dying to edit to the latest PH chapter and nothing seemed to fit Oz's situation, so I settled for an instrumental =P

From beginning til the end, Ed and Al always had each other to lean on and rely on. Even though it was just the two of them, they represented the true definition of what a "family" really is. Everything they do is for each other, and they're always there for one another no matter what. No matter what hardships Ed and Al face, they're always there to pick each other up. This was a very simple video made as a tribute to all the bromance in FMAB xD
Scene selection was harder than I thought it would be o.o I had all these scenes I wanted to use but I couldn't freaking find them anywhere. Then there was the issue of losing track of the scenes I found and wanted to use -__- I went through episode after episode, thinking 'hmm, that's a really good scene to use later on,' but I didn't make note of where those scenes were and couldn't find them later on OTL
As you can see, my amv skills still needs work, but I think this one turned out okay. I wanted it to be a very simple video that highlighted the bond between the two brothers. I promise I'll dedicate a better video to you one day, Hakobu xD
Anyway, I think I'm done with amvs for now. I'm going back to editing mmvs for a while =P

Oh god... after seeing people's reactions and avoiding PH ch 70 spoilers like my life depended on it, I see a tragedy tag has been slapped onto the series. I can already feel the mindfuck starting and I haven't even seen the spoilers or the raws yet. Why do I get the feeling... Oz is gonna... DKFJAFJKLAJFSDFJAJFH!! My heart can't take it! ;_;

But i'm definately glad things calmed down. It's so sad that there has to be such a huge fight over this.
I hope she does get over soon and forgets about this and becomes a happier person. Maybe even start editing videos through her own talent! I think it would be nice if she could do that.
