Although I loved Wigan from nearly the begining to end - history is been rewritten - it had a dark side.

Oh how people loved this back in my Wigan Casino days in the 70's. We couldn't believe that Faith Brown (who was a TV celeb at the time) had sang on such a great Motown sounding track the decade before. Just Fab.

My holidays were spent in Seaburn during the 1960's and 70's. I had an aunty and uncle who lived nearby. Many happy memories of the time. It has changed quiet a bit but it has been nice to revisit my younger years. I am now 53 and starting to remanise more and more every day - must be getting old!

@GEDYBOY Used to love the No 1. Although we lived in Dewsbury we would travel over every other weekend to visit as there was nothing to compare to it in Leeds (are nearerest city). This track always reminds me of them hedonistic nights! Still love house music and party now and again!

Got this for 50p at Bostocks Bradford in 1975. Lost it many years ago. So gratefull for you uploading it. It has brought a tear to my eye - as it reminds me of my Wigan Casino days and my miss-spent youth!

I used to love this B side just as much as the A. Reminds me of Sundays nights recovering from an allnight session at the infamouse Wigan Casino!

The girl doing all the spinning on these clips was called Julie Bev - if my memory serves me right. She went out with my friend Antony Ramsden for a short while who was from Bradford. I have not seen either for over thirty years. Wonder what they are both doing now?

I can't stand idiots like nsjc. Getting on their high horse about their years were the best and anything that happend after 75 was crap. I am well into my fifties and remember the early days of Wigan. Often it was empty and lacking in atmosphere - PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT!

This tune rocks! Better than anything being produced in England and the kids in the video are cool.

Does it matter where it was played. It certinaly reminds me of the Casino. Just embrace the fact we're stlll listening to this wonderfull music after so many years - for me it's going on 40 years! Beat that!

To do this you have to firslty set the hair on rollers, back-comb the hair till it is vericle, and finally pin-up in the desired style.
