"19th Nervous Breakdown" by the Rolling Stones

"19th Nervous Breakdown" by the Rolling Stones drum cover

    scamp3464 scamp3464 commented:

Great job!!!! I've always had trouble w/ the tempo on that song, particularly the right hand which is relentless & very fast. It's basically a really fast shuffle, right? You nailed the fills too, really well done.

One of me favorite songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival

What an amazing band!!!! This wasn't a single but is just relentlessly rocking. Quality music played w/heart & soul not to mention the genius of John Fogerty.

Inspired & excellent playing!!! One of the best covers of 'Fire" I've ever heard. I play in a cover band & we're gonna do that song & your video is one I'm gonna use to help me. You have a very good feel & I'm 54 years old & have no problem saying I'd love to be able to play like that.

This song sounds very Grass Roots ish & the members of the Grass Roots were annoyed that the songwriter/producer didn't offer them the tune. Has those classic horns which all the Grass Roots hits had. H, JF & R had a #1 w/ fallin in love which is a beautiful song & Winners & losers s...

Classic late 60's featuring the great Tony Burrows on vocals. This is NOT Tony singing on the video.

    scamp3464 scamp3464 commented:

This song is so evocative of its time. I was 13 in 1970 & spent countless hours listening to WABC AM listening to the great pop hits of the day. Whenever i hear any of those songs it takes me back to that era, a much simpler time. And there was no texting!!!!!1

This is from the 1969 TV show on WNET & they're in excellent form. There's good versions of Wishful Sinful & The Soft Parade from the same show. They were able to get quite a full sound w/ only 3 instruments & were quite a unique sounding group. NO ONE sounded like the Doors. I think this ...

This song is about as evocative of that time as any. I thought that Marmalade combined elements of the Hollies & Bee Gees , especially on this song. These pop songs had so much feeling & emotion in them & melody too!!!!

I grew up with Bob Hayes as the unquestioned faster player in the NFL & nothing I have seen or read since has convinced there's been anyone faster. There's a 1966 play vs. the Giants when he catches a pass over the middle & his acceleration is unbelievable as he pulls away from defensive ...

Paul's drumming is a bit stiffer than Ringo's. He plays drums on "Ballad of John & Yoko" & it's just John & Paul & they make a pretty fair approximation of the Beatles without George & Ringo.
