Small Breed Rescue of South Carolina was formed because we saw a need for rescue and rehabilitation of toy breeds, whose needs are unique from larger dogs. We also help shelties and some other herding breeds because these dogs love training and activity targeted to their breeds. We also take in purebred cats. All of our pets live indoors in private family homes where they receive love, training, and excellent care. We do not have a shelter or outdoor kennels. Our pets are adopted by families in the Southeast and occasionally from longer distances. Go to the links above to learn more.
