Hey dude, sorry for the late response.
It's great that you honor your ancestry so. I myself am 1/8 German and for the rest fully Dutch. My father's family comes from Twente (region in the eastern Netherlands, name is derived from the Tubanti which were a Germanic tribe). Twente lies in Saxon territory, and my family thus speaks the Twentish dialect, which belongs to the Lower Saxon dialect group. My mother's family hails from Salland (Also the eastern Netherlands, named after the Salian Franks, different dialect but also Lower Saxon). I have to say I'm more proud of my Saxon ancestry than of the Salian Frankish one, namely because the Franks were responsible for the Christianization of the region. But however you look at it : I'm Germanic all the way! People forget the importance of ancestry too often, I think.

It's always good to hear people resuming the pagan ways. Pagans are too far and too few between these days. But Norway and Saxony are also far and between, so how can you be both of them? I trust you're a little more proud of being a Saxon then you are of your "Norsk" heritage ; ) Norway is a very, very long way from here! Apart from that, it's great to hear you revere your Germanic ancestry. That's never a bad thing!
