my god, no. please don't tell me. i couldn't bear knowing luther is gone. no matter WHERE in the world we were, we were ALWAYS a phone call, email, or message/comment away from each other. we NEVER lost touch with each other! as far back as thelate 70's, when we 1st met & played with each other in bobo's human arts ensemble with joe & john greaves, our connection was instantaneous. i was his "jimi" & jody harris wrapped up into one, as he used to love to brag to anyone within earshot, as if i was his discovery. he was a beautiful, gentle soul who was giving enough to make me feel like i was important to him, & i'll never forget him for that. poor aki... god, our sons were the same age. he was SO proud of his son. this is a major hit to me. i loved him so much. he never failed to make me believe we had a future. the world doesn't make sense without luther...
