Saving and investing is actually:

- not that complicated
and certainly not that useless.
Financial markets have been around for 100's of years - contributing greatly to the success of our civilization and to a huge % of what we enjoy and what surrounds us.
The subject is not about greed and/or short-cuts, but about understanding and being able to discuss something that is in reality quite interesting with huge impact on the quality of our lives and of others that we care about.

Great info. Perhaps you could do something on currency exchange rates - you often hear about the U.S. dollar being worth however many Euros, but I suspect most people (self included) aren't entirely clear on what the implications of this are for the average person.
