SaveTibetanCulture is a site designed to bring awareness to the critical need to preserve and advance indigenous Tibetan culture in the Himalayan region of Nepal--the last place it actually exists.Videos posted are taken in remote Himalayan villages of Nepal by founder and executive director of Antahkarana International, Deanna Campbell. The work of Antahkarana has been on-going since 2004. Antahkarana International is a non-sectarian 501(c)3 charity and is unique in focusing attention on preserving inidgenous Tibetan culture. Antahkarana actively advances the work to preserve ancient customs and Buddhist traditions while bringing indigenous Tibetans into the 21st century through education. The work is structured to empower local youth to pursue higher education and exercise thier rights as minority citiizens of Nepal. Extraordinary success has been achieved in returning young people to the villages to carry out the critical work.
