Hi , Yes my eyes were dehydrated. I was really, really ill from Celiac Disease. I am still not better even after a year and a half of being on the diet allthought I feel better than I did a year ago. Btw, Celiac Disease is not, I reapeat NOT a food allergy. It is an auto immune response to gluten ( protein in wheat, rye and barley) which causes your bodys own immune response to attack and damage the villi in your small intestine. The villi are responsible for absorbing nutrients from food and breaking particles of food further for absorption.
Celiac diesease can also cause many other problems not realated to the small intestine. Since you aren't receiving nutrients this can cause problems in just about every system in the body. Also, Celiac Disease is an Auto Immune diesease so it is likely that if you have Celiac you may have another auto immune disease. I have Hypothyroidism. Take care hope you are well.
