Thomas has spent 17 years in satellite communications mainly supporting business clients. He became the top grossing salesperson and regional sales manager in the country for Toshiba Electronics C-band division while he was with CCI, Inc. He spent 3 years as a top 3 individual in the nations top grossing region with PrimeStar by DirecTV, Inc which acquired over 2 million digital broadcast television subscribers in rural America. Thomas has consulted Hughes Networks, Inc. and SES Americom on IP-multicast and Push content projects and was a founder the Internet Satellite Platform, Inc. (ISAT) in 2001 ISATs DVB-S (mpeg-3) technology platform was partially acquired by SES Americom in 2003. Thomas signed, deployed and supported the launches over 100 partner Telephone companies and ISPs while helping them to acquire over 6,000 last mile partner broadband subscribers. He managed the SkyWay USA and SkyVision launches which became ISATs two largest providers with over 3,000 subscribers between them. Thomas was hired by SkyWay USA in July 2004 and joined Broadband in a Box in May 2008.
