Der Arena-Shooter Nexuiz erscheint in dieser Woche, genauer am 29. Februar, im Rahmen der Microsoft „House Party" zunächst exklusiv auf Xbox 360 Arcade (Preis: 800 MSP).
Nexuiz läuft mit der CryENGINE 3 und kombiniert das klassische Genre der extrem schnellen Arena-Shooter mit dynamischen Mutatoren. Mutatoren sind Power-Ups, die das Spielgeschehen jederzeit entscheidend verändern können.

Nexuiz, a full reimagining of Alien Trap Software's free open source shooter launched in 2005. In Nexuiz, developed by Denver-based IllFonic and powered by CryEngine 3, players will dominate opponents with their weapons of choice in futuristic arenas in which up to eight players continually alter the laws of physics by triggering 100 different Dynamic Mutators that change the match on the fly. Nexuiz is scheduled for release on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for the 29th February for 800 Microsoft Points with the PlayStation 3 and PC versions coming later this spring.
