I watched Lawrence Welk as a kid and thought the Lennon sisters were so wonderful, couldn't wait each week to watch it. You bet I would go back to those times with so many loving memories, and glad I grew up in those times.

I was driving listening to a radio station that played Islands in the stream and I loved it. Funny thing is they didn't have a song schedule and played guess what Island in the stream the over and over, and I just kept on driving Ha Ha!!

sas64, Most of her songs make me want to cry, but I love them
then and still do.Wow I noticed her dress, they wore those hoop slips underneath
their dresses. I think that was more in the 50's. I loved that time in my life. It's so warming to go back and reminicse.
