Riassunto generale:
Quando il duca di Milano viene brutalmente ucciso, Giovanni Auditore, un Assassino, viene incaricato di investigare sul delitto. La sua missione è di identificare il colpevole e conoscere le ragioni del suo gesto. Le risposte che troverà sveleranno il coinvolgimento di alcune delle più importanti famiglie italiane e persino del Vaticano. Avvicinandosi alla verità, lo stesso Giovanni finirà col diventare una preda. Dovrà inchiodare i cospiratori prima di diventarne lennesima vittima Si tratta di eventi precedenti la vicenda narrata in Assassins Creed 2.
Episodio 1:
Firenze, 1476. Giovanni Auditore, un Assassino, cerca di sventare una cospirazione ai danni di un alleato di Lorenzo de Medici, per il quale lavora. L'indagine lo conduce a Milano, dove tenta di impedire che accada il peggio.
Episodio 2 :
Inseguendo gli uccisori dello Sforza, Giovanni giunge a Venezia, dove intercetta una lettera in codice scritta dai membri della cospirazione. Decodificare il documento è l'unico modo per scoprire chi è a capo della congiura.
Episodio 3 :
Incapace di decifrare la lettera, Giovanni decide di portarla a destinazione a Roma, con l'intento di smascherare i capi della congiura. Ma qui scoprirà che la cospirazione è ben più vasta e pericolosa di quanto avesse immaginato
