so I've watched a lot of videos of the LGBTQ community here on Youtube, and have come to the
realization that even though most do and clearly identify themselves as being gay they still hold on to their religious beliefs. Now this to me is sort of an enigma for i can not grasp the concept.

Not saying that i don't get religion, i just don't get religion in the LGBQT community. I have just recently come to identify as an Atheist, now considering that i have an East African background Religion has been a major character in my life. But even as a child and coming to terms with what religion is, I was still able to see the absurdity of it from an early age.

I have enjoyed watching your videos, I always try to catch them whenever I am able to do so, You have very solid point of views and you always make sense to me, you seem rational in all your subjects which i think is an admirable quality.

Hence why i have decided to pose this question to you....why is it that people choose to hold on to their religious beliefs be it of any religion, knowing how that particular religion views homosexuality....does it also mean that any individual can go completely against the bible(religious book) and still hold religious views or call themselves a follower of that religion because at the end of it all "only God can judge" ?
